This is a commissioned position with the primary responsibility being to provide a high level of customer service by demonstrating advanced product knowledge and building quality customer relationships which result in increased sales and repeat business.
Warehouse Worker I
Responsible for one or more of the following duties: breaking down containers and boxes, baling, wrapping, routine stocking, storing and distribution of materials, tools, and products within Walker Furniture warehouse, in accordance with company policy and procedures. Will ensure routine housekeeping tasks are regularly accomplished to keep the work areas safe from visible hazards.
Warehouse Worker II
Receives, stocks/stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within Walker Furniture in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Provides front line Customer Service and general monetary assistance to customers and sales associates. Processes credit applications for new customers seeking finance options.
Regularly operates a Forklift to move materials around a warehouse, storage area or store site. Receives, stocks/stores and distributes material, tools, equipment and products within Walker Furniture in accordance with company policy and procedures.
Delivery Driver (Cheyenne)
This position regularly performs duties for the purpose of delivering merchandise to customers from the Cheyenne Warehouse. The incumbent is also responsible. This may include special deliveries, customer add-on's, service items, high profile or special event deliveries, and customer returns. Work is performed under the direction of the department supervisor or manager.
Must have current Nevada Driver's License, be able to provide Motor Vehicle Report for all states resided in for the past three (3) years with no driving infractions, be over 21 years of age, and able to lift up to 100 pounds.
