Current Positions Available
Walker Furniture has several positions currently available in our North Las Vegas Warehouse/Distribution Center.
Delivery Driver/Helper Driver/helpers load and unload furniture from trucks, deliver and position furniture. Includes some furniture assembly in customers' homes. Able to work as a team member, good interpersonal skills and able to lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
Successful candidate will be at least 21 years of age, have a valid Nevada driver's license with no citations for the past three (3) years. Must be able to provide (at time of interview) a copy of Motor Vehicle Report from any state of residence within the past 3 years.
Warehouse Associate/Lift Operator Successful candidate will have stocking/merchandising and lift operator experience, basic computer skills and ability to work with common hand tools. Must be able to work as a team member and on own. Good interpersonal skills and able to lift up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
Inventory Control Must have the ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, work independently and perform well in a fast-paced and high pressured environment. Must be dependable, analytical and detail oriented. Ability to work at various heights while inventorying and obtain Lift Certification. Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while working with others in sometimes stressful situations. Must possess good computer skills and have knowledge of Excel and Word software programs. Experience using automated inventory systems is preferred, but not required. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate good time management.
